Dear Visitor,
The clocks have gone back and we now prepare for winter, however, I am pleased to report that Paladon Systems is still pressing forward.
Some of our recent successes are detailed below, and our list of approvals by global oil and gas companies continues to grow. Our plant in Italy continues to expand in terms of volume and expertise in building our most technically complex systems. The market is also showing definite signs of improvement, especially in the Middle and Far East, and increasingly in South America.
With regards to product development, the increasingly popular ASV, a subsea system for opening and closing valves using pipeline pressure as the motive force, is gaining acceptance; especially in tanker buoy loading/offloading applications.
Thank you for your support and I will be in touch with you again in January.

PetroVietnam Project Win
Paladon Systems is pleased to announce that they have recently been awarded an order for the supply of 18 actuators and control systems. To be fitted to 6” to 26”, class 300 to 1500 ball valves, the actuator scope of supply includes pneumatic and hydraulic spring-return actuators, double-acting hydraulic actuators and double-acting gas-over-oil actuators. The actuators will be controlled via a mix of local and remote mounted control systems, and will be powered by both a ring-main system and by hydraulic power units. Find out more about gas-over-oil actuators and hydraulic power units.

Large UK Project Win
Following a site visit by a Paladon Systems’ Service Technician earlier this year, we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded an order for the supply of 48 control cabinets to automate 120 existing spring-return rack and pinion actuators. The EExd certified and fully stainless-steel control systems will provide remote on/off valve control and will be fitted with flow control valves and quick exhaust valves to provide independent opening and closing valve operating speeds, as well as rapid valve closure when required. To be designed by Paladon Systems’ UK Engineering Department, the control cabinets will be manufactured in Paladon Systems’ Italian headquarters. Find out more about Paladon Systems’ bespoke control system capabilities.

ADNOC Project Win
Paladon Systems is pleased to announce that they have just been awarded the contract for the supply of 26 valve automation systems for ADNOC’s Rumaitha Thamama Zone B Phase III Expansion project. The scope of supply includes 2 self-contained electro-hydraulic HIPPS packages, 21 ring-main hydraulic ESD systems and 3 ring-main pneumatic ESD systems. All systems will provide remote open and close operation, emergency shutdown and will be fitted with intrinsically safe certified partial stroking systems to ensure system integrity.
