Paladon Systems' Hydraulic Power Units help keep England's fuels flowing and its planes flying

For over a decade, Paladon Systems has been working closely with bpa to supply Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs) and accumulators for various pumping facilities across England. Amongst other fuels, these facilities are also used to control the distribution of aviation fuel across the entire country, and are therefore a critical part of England's aviation industry.

Applications Engineer, Malcolm Norton, “The HPUs and accumulators we design and manufacture are used to create the ring-main hydraulic pressure used by all the actuators on a specific site; and therefore system reliability is a critical requirement. We have thirty years of experience of supplying HPUs for critical applications, and this is the main reason that bpa trusts our systems to keep their facilities running. Last week we shipped the seventh such system, and we look forward to continuing to work closely with bpa in the years ahead.”
